Please note that the CPLI Italian School Calendar IS different than that of the Edmonton Catholic School and Public School Districts. Therefore, CPLI students WILL have school on days if their English school is off for PD Days and the like and similarly, may not have Italian language school on days English school IS in session.

--First Day of Scuola September 11th, 2023 (Monday/lunedí)

--Giorno della Veritá e Riconciliazione  October 2nd, 2023 (lunedí--no classes)

--Festa di Ringraziamento October 9th, 2023 (lunedí-no classes)

--Giorno di Rimembranza (Remembrance Day) and November Break November 10th, 2023 (Friday/venerdí-no classes) classes resume November 15th, 2023 (Wednesday/mercoledí) **CPLI Thursday/Giovedí Classes in Session on November 9th

---Ferie d’Inverno, Natale, Capodanno e la Befana**Thursday December 21st is Friday Schedule /Friday December 22nd is Thursday Schedule. Official Break starts on December 25th (lunedí). Classes resume January 8th, 2024 (lunedí)

--Giorno della Famiglia February 19th, 2024 (lunedí-no classes)

--Conferenza Pedagogica February 29th and March 1st (no classes giovedí and venerdí). Classes resume March 4th

--Ferie di Primavera e Pasqua March 25th-April 2nd (classes resume Tuesday/martedí) **Thursday March 21st is Friday Schedule/Friday March 22nd is Thursday Schedule.

--Giorno della Regina Vittoria e Lungo Fine SettimanaMay 17th (venerdí-no classes) to May 21st (classes resume martedí)

--L’Ultimo Giorno di Scuola e Festa di Fine Anno Last day of formal classes is June 21st (venerdí) and June 23rd (Sunday/domenica) is Scuola Celebration Day

Every year, we schedule two (2) - three (3) school fieldtrips per year for each class: 

October 25, 2023 (PreK-Kinder)- Telus World of Science

December 12, 2023 (PreK-Kinder)-Muttart Conservatory

December TBA (Classe del Giovedí)-Muttart Conservatory

May 22, 2024 (PreK-Kinder)-In Class Fieldtrip Spring Insects and Animals

TBA in December: Spreading Christmas Cheer Concerts (PreK-Kinder/Classe del Giovedí
